Jefferson County Driver's License Road Testing
Please schedule your road and motorcycle skills test appointment here. All applicants must reside in Jefferson County. All other applicants will be turned away. PLEASE DO NOT SCHEDULE EXTRA/MULTIPLE APPOINTMENTS FOR THE SAME TEST. There still exists a backlog in some areas, and taking multiple appointments will deprive others of an opportunity to test. We will periodically audit the schedule for duplicates, and we will delete and reassign any duplicates found. If you are found to have multiple appointments, only the earliest appointment by date and time will be honored. You will need your permit, a licensed driver over the age of 21, proof of insurance on the vehicle, and proof of vehicle registration. If you are beginning the intermediate phase, you will also need a completed driving log signed by a parent or legal guardian. When scheduling your appointment, please use your first and last name as it appears on your permit. At the discretion of this office we will delete and reassign any incomplete appointments. All applicants shall correctly wear a mask (covering nose and mouth) at arrival to the KSP test lot, and for the entire duration of the skills test. If at any time an applicant or licensed driver fails to comply, or takes off their mask, the skills test is to be terminated and the applicant must reschedule. Note: Only licensed driver that is at least 21 years of age needs to accompany you to the testing site. Testing may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Test Location: Park in the main parking lot and report to WINDOW #3. Please do not park in any of the testing lanes under the canopy until assigned a lane.
